🛡️ Subnet Liquidation Risk

What is Dereg Risk & Why It Matters +

Real-time deregistration risk for every subnet. On-chain data: EMA prices, pool reserves, immunity countdowns, and liquidation values. The subnet with the lowest EMA price gets killed when a new one registers.

Subnet Liquidation Risk

Which subnets are closest to being killed. Sorted by risk score — highest risk first.

If I hold alpha in a subnet, how much TAO do I get back if it dies?

How Subnet Deregistration Works
  • When all 128 slots are full and someone registers a new subnet, the subnet with the lowest EMA alpha price gets killed.
  • New subnets have a ~180 day immunity period — they can't be deregistered during this time.
  • When a subnet dies, the TAO in its pool is split pro-rata to all alpha holders. You get your share automatically.
  • Liquidation Value = TAO reserve / outstanding alpha. If pool is drained, you get less back per alpha token.
  • TAO Flow shows net capital movement — negative means money leaving the subnet (capital flight).
  • Post-halving, pools accumulate TAO slower. Weak subnets bleed out faster.
